Hey 4B Families!
Thank you so much to those of you who were able to make it to our work share last week! It was truly wonderful to share all of the fabulous work the kids are doing in class every day. I look forward to discussing it with you even further at our upcoming spring conferences.
As I've been saying to 4B, this week is totally "cuckoo bananas!" We've got MCAS on Monday and Tuesday, an author visit and half day Wednesday, and Arts Equinox Thursday and Friday. Even with all of these exciting events, we've still got some great work planned for 4B!
In Math we'll move from fractions to decimals. We'll zoom in on number lines to identify decimals up to the hundredths place.
In Reading we'll enjoy a visit from Kwame Alexander and the Versify crew.
In Writing we'll begin turning our team research into individual essays about topics that are important to us in schools.
In Science we'll use some Arts Equinox time to examine the layers of the earth in a different (and artistic!) way.
